The John McCain Library and Archives will be just one part of a larger John McCain Leadership Center, potentially comprised also of a Department of Irregular Warfare Centers (IWC), an international venue for bilateral and multilateral research, communication, exchange of ideas, and training involving U.S. and foreign military, civilian, and non-governmental participants, utilizing their unique academic forums to build strong, sustainable international networks of security leaders. Co-located will be associated Arizona State University programs of research and academics. Together with hotel and conference facilities, the site will serve as testament to Arizona leadership of the past, and the ongoing role it will play into the future.
